Ashish Keskar : Graduated in commerce, but music inherent in his family charmed him to take the path of modern technology to achieve the planet of music. Music that has been in his blood from many generations has charmed many listeners across, who have aplaueded his efforts.
Learnt music from his father Pt. Shreenivas Keskar. Also got the knowledge of western instruments & the recording terminologies from his eldest brother – Sitaritst & Music Composer Shri Atul Keskar.
Till now Ashish has scored music for more than 20 Marathi Feature Films, more than 500 Albums, more than 3000 Jingles & Spots. His music has received many awards & accolades, to name a few are Alpha (ZEE) Gaurav Puraskaar 2004 – for Marathi Feature Film “Tarunychya Latewar” Music Direction, Maharashtra Kala Niketan – State Level Award for Music for “Tarunychya Latewar” marathi feature film, Best Sound & Music – By National Documentary Board for a documentary film music direction The Great Indian Rat Race (Year 1998) Young Outstanding Person Award : by the Jessies International Best Achievement Award – for Music contribution by Deshastha Rugvedi Bramhan Sanstha, Pune.
He has worked in many prestigious as music composer, music director & music conductor viz. Election Campaign Music for BJP‘s 2004 Loksabha Election, Bharat Uday Yatra theme song for Hon. Shri Lalkrushna Advani in 2004, music for documentary film on life portray of Dadamuni Shri Ashok Kumar for Zee Cinema in 1998, arranged & conducted a classical bandish penned & composed by Padma Bhushan S. N. Ratanjankar on the occasion of inauguration of Central Vista phase I – Kartavya Path & Netaji Subhashchandra Bose’s statue at India Gate, New Delhi in the gracious presence of Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in September 2022.
